For operators that are building their own analytics infrastructure and need to integrate best-in-class methodologies and capabilities, we offer Subscriber Analytix Components – individual modules that can be integrated into existing systems to enrich network & traffic data streams.
Each component implements a set of specific data enrichment and treatment methodologies that provide operators with the ability to develop advanced capabilities such as subscriber profiling, micro-segmentation, device analysis, and data monetization.
All components are compatible with Hadoop infrastructures (Hortonworks, Cloudera, and MapR) and can be deployed and integrated into existing data processing workflows.
Media Categorization Component
The Media Categorization Component analyzes mobile user traffic and categorizes it by class, such as news, sports, gaming, TV, retail, social media, photos, services and others. This provides operators with a robust and granular understanding of subscriber behavior to enrich segmentations and improve campaigns conversion.
Device Categorization Component
The Device Categorization Component searches for device identifiers and provides rich details about more than 70 attributes associated with those devices from device type, manufacturer to 4G-readiness, and video and camera capabilities. This enables operators to promote services to subscribers that have a compatible phone.
The Engagement Component provides detailed web analytics for an operator’s subscriber base such as time spent and visits to a site or an app, web traffic comparisons, and subscriber engagement. This information provides operators with an analysis of preferences by subscribers segments, and can be used to determine marketing offers such as free or discounted streaming from certain sites.
Quality of Service Component
The Quality of Service Component provides a scoring mechanism for a subscriber’s experience using voice, data, or SMS services. Subscriber’s interactions with the network generate numerous indicators that are continuously monitored and fed into Inovvo’s scoring engine, resulting in a simplified 0 to 100 based score. This provides operators with visibility into a subscriber’s experience using network services and enables them to proactively manage subscribers that are having a poor experience
Defective Device Detection Component
The Defective Device Detection Component provides a network-based mechanism, rather than software or device-side apps, for identifying devices that potentially have faulty radio transmission equipment. This component works entirely off network data, works for all devices, and does not require that any device-side apps or software is installed. This information helps reduce NTF (no trouble found) rates on device returns, and provides operators with intelligence to proactively correct issues that could result in subscriber churn due to poor device performance.
